I grew up in neighborhoods across the US. As the daughter of an Army officer, I lived in 10 different states and 2 countries before my 25th birthday. It was tough, but it made me realize how important where you live is. And more than that, how you're treated when you move.
I was very choosy about where my own family would call home. Lynchburg Virginia was the perfect choice. It's a great place to put down roots. There are the great advantages of a city with the gentle feeling of a small community.
